Event in Gran Alacant
On Sunday 9th February 2014, the first dog
socialization event was held on the site behind the petrol
station in Gran Alacant, where Santa Pola Council are
currently studying the possibility to build the future
dog park for exercising and socializing.
Loreto Cascales Councillor for Gran Alacant
attended the event and in addition to supporting the day,
wanted to `remind Gran Alacant´s residents that
we will have a space for man's best friend: the Dog Park,
which will have 2,000 square meters and will be situated
right here in the park behind the petrol station adjoining
the national highway N-332.´
For full opening we only need to include
the costs involved to fence in the area in the municipal
budget for the current year and the
building would begin sometime in 2014.
ASPETGA Pet Owners Association
of Santa Pola and Gran Alacant are the group pushing for
the first GRAN ALACANT DOG PARK.

earmarked to be situated at the main entrance behind the
petrol station adjacent to the park in Gran Alacant.
