For the members who do not wish to compete in competitions or teams there are a variety of social events organised by Gran Alacant´s Montemar Bowls.
Recently 50 club members enjoyed a short break to Andalucia staying in a hotel just outside Seville. There were day trips to the city where the ladies enjoyed the many shoe and dress shops, a chance to take a bus around Seville, a boat trip on the Guadalquiver river and a visit to Cordoba. All in all a most enjoyable trip.
New bowling and social members are always welcome. If you have never bowled before come along and give it a try (you may surprise yourself).
