My name is Eunice. My two
brothers and me all suffer from the degenerative disease
Friedreich's Ataxia (also called FA or
FRDA).
The disease limits our quality
of life as it affects our balance and co-ordination of
movements... which worsen over time.
By collecting plastic tops and caps in
Gran Alacant we are helping fund research into this disease.
The more we collect the greater chance we have of finding
a cure.
How can you help?
By collecting your PLASTIC TOPS
and CAPS. We will then send them off for weighing,
recycling and the money raised will be passed to GENEFA.

Who is GENEFA?
GENEFA is a Platform
for a Friedreich's Ataxia cure - Research on gene therapy,
was constituted in March 2013 by a group of FA affected
people (patients, relatives and friends) in order to support
researching for a Friedreich's ataxia cure, in a non-for-profit
and volunteer collaborative way.
