Gran Alacant's MABS
Association traditional 'Walk for Life', a walk through
life to help raise funds for the fight against cancer
raises over €2000 with donations from Monte y
Mar Bowls Club and the Tuesday morning Carabassi Coffee
Club.
Participants dressed
in pink gathered for the four kilometer walk at the
bottom of `heart attack hill' near the Clot de Galvany
where there were balloons and music before heading
off along Avda Carabassi towards Gran Alacant's allotments
passing Gran Alacant's School before heading back
to the Clot de Galvany.
Donations included Monte
y Mar Bowls Club €250 and the Coffee Club €700
with the total of monies raised still to be confirmed.
The yearly event is
organised by Jan and Angela of MABS.
