AMPA are parents of school students who volunteer to help contribute and offer better services to our children.
The Board is formed by a group of parents whose work is to achieve this fundamental objective. In addition, the group of parents help collaborate in different activities which constitute the goals of the Association, under the coordination and direction of the Board.
Broadcasting to “Gran Alacant and the World”
CEIP VICENTA RUSO Primary School have taken to the airwaves with AMPA´s latest school initiative “DIVER RADIO” (Funny Radio).
The Parent´s Associaiton (AMPA) are very excited to have had the opportunity to perform a radio project at the school and are greatly appreciative of the work of both teachers and students to make it become a reality.

Gran Alacant School Carnival
Gran Alacant´s streets have seen the first School Street Carnival Parade organised by the Gran Alacant School with children dressed in costumes of all types of fruit and vegetables made by themselves and their families. The procession was enlivened with music, songs and drums.

21/05 TALLER BIODIVERSIDAD
El alumnado de 5° conmemora el día mundial de la biodiversidad con un taller sobre biología. Han aprendido sobre los diferentes ecosistemas del entorno de Santa Pola observando algunas especies de insectos con lupa binocular para terminar construyendo una casa nido para murciélagos y colaborar con la protección de esta especie que beneficia a nuestros ecosistemas. Como curiosidad aprendieron que los murciélagos de nuestra zona, los "pipistrellus", aunque de reducido tamaño, son capaces de alimentarse de 500 mosquitos por día, lo que supone una gran ayuda para combatirlos.
