Gran Alacant Inaugurations
For almost every council project that is completed there is an inauguration. These are inaugurated by the Santa Pola Mayor accompanied by the Gran Alacant Councillor and/or the person the infrastructure is named after.
Gran Alacant’s Website has attended many of the municpal inaugurations and opening ceromonies held in Gran Alacant.
Gran Alacant Fiestas
Gran Alacant Fiestas take place every July where residents and visitors gather to enjoy a long weekend of festivities. The four days of events are designed for all ages with an extensive and varied programme including fun activities for children, live bands and dance performances. Gran Alacant’s Fiestas are organised by the European Residents Association of Gran Alacant (ASVEGA) in collaboration with Santa Pola Town Council.
Gran Alacant International Library
Gran Alacant Library in collaboration with Santa Pola Town Council organise regular courses, classes and workshops for the people of Gran Alacant. Activities are held at the library in the general purpose room and in the municipal room at the Life Resort.

Municipal Building
At the Gran Alacant Municpal Building the Santa Pola Town Council provide a surgery, pediatrician, library and councillor office.
