Santa Pola to host the start of the 8th stage of the Vuelta Cycle Race in Spain

On Saturday 21st August 2021 at 13.15h Santa Pola will have the departure of the 8th stage of the cycling tour of Spain from Santa Pola on Avda. Santiago Bernabeu to La Manga del Mar Menor.

A very important event for our municipality and from which we need the maximum collaboration. We leave you some information of interest:

Located in the dry dock area.

ROUTE:

Av. Santiago Bernabeu, Av. Almirante Antequera, C / Antina, Castillo Fortaleza, C / Elche, Av.
Portus Ilicitanus, Av. Fernando Perez Ojeda, Av. Jesús Astondoa, Av. Valencia, Av. Vicente
Blasco Ibáñez, Av. Cristobal Sanz and Ctra. N-332 direction Torrevieja.

PARKING PROHIBITION:

The entire circuit from Thursday 19th August 2021 at 10:00 p.m.

• From Friday 20th morning hours to Saturday 21st afternoon hours: Avenida Santiago
• During the test: Saturday morning: cut off the N-332 towards Torrevieja
• Saturday morning until disassembly: The entire circuit

PARKING AREAS:

Off-circuit streets, castle parking, AMFISA parking (next to the Tabarqueras),
Pola Max shopping center parking, areas enabled in the attached images.

In relation to waste management, containers for clothes, glass, waste, oils will be
displaced or removed from the circuit.

We appreciate the collaboration and regret the possible inconvenience that may be caused
