Taxis are stationed outside the Lidl store at the Commercial Centre. Another taxi rank at the top end of Gran Alacant outside the Municipal Building. 

Taxi nº 16 is for users with disabilities or reduced mobility

Antonio Pérez Huerta, Councillor for transport, pointed out that `since July 2012 we have had available to citizens this service offering taxi No. 16 which offers a vehicle adapted for wheelchair and accommodating up to four people and driver. We thus cover a very specific service with a taxi which brings together the appropriate conditions for people with reduced mobility to the same price as any other taxi.’

The taxi owner and his employee recalled that ‘In Santa Pola there did not exist any adapted vehicle for users. We now provide this service 24 hours a day and it is important that persons with disabilities or reduced mobility have have knowledge of this service and can count on us.´
